The International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property or AIPPI, an acronym for Association Internationale pour la Protection de la Propriété Intellectuelle in French-Our members are professionals, academics, owners of intellectual property and others...the worlds largest non profit NGO focused on harmonising laws relevant to industry...
Our Congress is in London this year and I’m here as a UK delegate speaking for the UK on consumer survey evidence. The meeting is full of robust debate, on topics like survey evidence, patent plausibility, remedies and many other issues relevant to the global legal landscape for intellectual property.
It is fascinating to learn what common themes bind us, and what we find challenging to agree on...but without doubt this international dialogue is hugely beneficial to us all - I am glad to report the UK group is having a very positive impact on the outcomes!
