This morning I joined business leaders to meet Innovative entrepreneurs from the Netherlands and the United Kingdom who are showcasing their work to the Dutch King and Queen and the British Earl and Countess of Wessex. We saw clean tech solutions, AI solutions, robotics development and medical devices all based in the UK or The Netherlands leading their fields of innovation. The finance and tech connections between the UK and the Netherlands are long established and positively all agree our changing relationship in Europe is not undermining our joint desire to collaborate as innovation nations.
Featured Dutch start-ups invited to show their products included WizeNoze (educational technology), Etergo (electric scooters), Tovertafel (braintrainer games for dementia patients) and byFlow (3D food printers). The day included announcements of new deals between UK and Dutch companies in the FinTech, clean growth and digital sectors worth millions of pounds.
