Today with the markets board I was delighted to visit Dagenham with Cllr. Darren Rodwell leader of Barking & Dagenham to look at the site of our future #foodmarket for London, an ambition I’ve had for a decade. The space is there and so is the determination to deliver. We are getting nearer to creating a new home for Smithfield, Billingsgate and Spitalfield markets, this November it’s time for our Bill to Parliament and once an Act the move can begin.
