Today I attended the summer reception of PICTFOR - the Parliamentary Internet, Communications and Technology Forum - where we met with the Chief Executive of OFCOM and a wide range of businesses. The session was looking ahead at the infrastructure needs of the UK in the information age, and of course some discussion of Brexit. The importance of infrastructure to the UK's ability to operate in the digital age is key for our future, and I look forward to engaging with them further. The discussions were led by the Rt. Hon. Lord McNally, and Chi Onwurah MP – Co-Chair of the forum. We were joined by many other MPs including Matt Warman MP the other Co-Chair of the Forum. It was pleasing to see how many members of the Lords and Commons attended and show interest in this important part of our infrastructure.
