A NEW VICAR FOR ALL HALLOWS
The Bishop of London has appointed The Rev'd Katherine Hedderly as the new Vicar of All Hallows.
Katherine is currently an Associate Vicar for Ministry at St Martin in the Fields, where she leads the day-to-day worship and liturgical programme and operational life of St Martin’s. She is responsible for pastoral care, oversight of church staff team, PCC finances and communications of the church, where she has been since 2009. She also is a member of the Diocesan Advisory Committee and acts as a spiritual director.
Katherine has a background in the film and television business, was a producer and director of an independent production company and is a graduate of the National Film & Television School and the University of Oxford. She trained at NTMTC London in Contextual Theology and was ordained in 2006, serving her curacy at St Michael & All Angels, Bedford Park. She has been a churchwarden at St John’s Notting Hill, and has lived, worked and ministered in London for 30 years.
Katherine will also be Area Dean to the City, with responsibility for leading the clergy Chapter as well as chairing the Deanery Synod. She will work with the Bishop and Archdeacon as a member of the Area Staff team, helping to formulate a vision for the work of the City Churches in the next phase of their development.
