Today it was a great pleasure to introduce as a sponsor the Rt. Hon. David Jones MP to receive his Freedom of the City of London. It is a recognition awarded to people who have achieved success in their chosen field, as David has on our behalf as an MP and Minister. David held several ministerial posts and is the first Secretary of State for Wales to have served as an Assembly Member in Wales and since then his most recent office was as Minister of State at the Department for Exiting the European Union. His support for the UK and vision for a positive future was a delight to hear and I hope his Freedom brings him joy!
