Bank station’s new entrance on Cannon Street officially opened to customers this morning, providing direct access to the Northern line and DLR
· New ticket hall also provides step-free access to the Northern line for the first time via two new lifts, and improved access to the DLR
· The major upgrade of Bank station is now complete, delivering 40 per cent greater capacity and transforming customer journeys through the station
· New, more direct interchanges are making journeys quicker for those changing between lines, shaving up to nine minutes off journey times for some customers
