I was very fortunate to be asked to introduce the Rt. Hon. Sir Iain Duncan Smith at a dinner where he set out why freedom requires the UK and her allies to stand up to totalitarian states.
His remarks were very thought provoking in this time of conflict in Ukraine and Gaza, and with tensions in many other places like the pacific.
The Q&A showed how much people care about our standing in the world and the issues that impact us all.
